What does the symbol in our logo mean?
The symbol in our logo represents the ancient "Philosopher's Stone". It symbolizes Mental alchemy which deals with taking things from the mental and spiritual plane and transmuting and manifesting it into physical form and reality. Through Mental Alchemy, one transforms their inner life from undesirable (lead) to desirable (gold).
The circle represents the totality of all energy and the ultimate expression of unity in the Cosmos. The square represents the crystallization of energy into definite form and the idea of perfect harmony. The trinity is shown by the triangle (The equilateral triangle is an emblem of the three essential attributes of Deity, namely, Omnipresence, Omniscience, and Omnipotence) Finally, the inner circle represents eternity.
This symbol is often referred to as the synthesis of alchemy which hearkens back to ancient philosophy, wherein the square, circle, and triangle are the emblems of the material body, the soul, and the spirit, the three elements believed to be necessary for alchemical transformation. Alchemically, these are Mercury, Salt, and Sulfur. It is written, “Make of man and woman a circle; thence a square; thence a triangle; form a circle, and you will have the Philosopher’s Stone,” a hidden geometrical formula for creating an octave and a golden rectangle.”
Why the Dragon in our branding?
Dragons are an ancient symbol of wisdom that represents the pineal gland, known as the organ that was the ancient method of acquiring knowledge which was no longer employed in general but in secret preserved by the elect. As an emblem of divinity, the pineal gland would naturally be associated with royalty for Kings were seen as the shadows of the gods upon earth. The pineal Gland and the pituitary body have been also called to head and the tail of the Dragon of wisdom. Expounding on that furthermore, the significance of the Dragon in our logo and branding means a lot more. Egyptians knew that reptiles represented the highest development of the pineal gland and for this reason, the coiled serpent upon their foreheads and often worn crowns represented the third eye or Uraeus.
In reptiles, two distinct pineal bodies exist: an anterior and a posterior. The posterior remains underdeveloped, while the anterior takes on a primitive, cyclopean eye form. This structure is homologous to the human pineal body and extends out of the skull through an opening. In some reptiles, such as the chameleon, the gland is found under a transparent scale in the parietal foramen and bears a striking resemblance to the embryonic optic nerve. The pineal body is often referred to as an unpaired parietal eye and is remarkably well-preserved in reptiles compared to other vertebrates. While many amphibians have a median or pineal eye located on the back of their head, this feature is also observed in the fossilized remains of gigantic extinct reptiles from the Mesozoic era. You may even spot this peculiar eye in the back of a giant lizard skull on display at a geological museum.
